Tag

TAG is a multiplayer catch game played locally. Get your friends together and chase each other around three different levels as you square off with one, two, or three of them! You can use shortcuts to bounce yourself up and away from the chaser, as well as a sneaky teleport that can only be used once before disappearing, so you can mislead the chaser and waste their time!

Tag Variations

We offer four modes of play in our version of Tag. You’ll need to study them before jumping into a game, since each one differs slightly.

Points Tag

This is a strategic version of Tag where one player is IT and the other is tagged. Points are slowly earned if you’re not an IT person. While you are IT, you don’t receive any points. The first player to reach the target number of points wins.

Knockout Tag

There are the same number of points for each player at the beginning. ITs lose points when they are on the team. You’re out the moment you reach zero! There is only one player left at the end of the game.

Reverse Tag

Except for one player, everyone is IT. When you are not IT, you lose points. You don’t have to worry about losing points. Players who reach ZERO points first win!

Zombie Tag

It’s a multi-round tag! A player starts as IT, and whenever they tag someone else, that player becomes IT as well. You get 1 point for tagging someone while IT, and 1 point for avoiding being tagged until the end of the round. The first player to reach maximum points wins! During a draw, sudden death rules apply.

Tag Game Tips

A Tag game consists of tagging your opponents and not being tagged by them. Nevertheless, you can still improve your skills and play the Tag Game better with a few basic tips.

Keep your high ground

On every map, there will be platforms from which to jump, either onto the ground or onto other platforms. If you keep the high ground, you will always have the option of either staying on the higher platforms, or dropping down when necessary.

Move in midair

There is a high chance that jumping will be involved when you are evading or chasing your enemies. Tag has the unique feature of allowing you to make minor adjustments midair after jumping. It may have occurred to you that you should move left after attempting to jump to the right. This is a critical part of Tag that can give you an edge.

Use the jumping tokens

When playing Tag, a token with a big UP arrow will often appear on the map. Obtaining this token will allow you to jump higher than normal, allowing you to jump much higher than other players. By doing this, you give yourself an obvious advantage that you can use to increase your competitive advantage.
